Pictured above is the installation of 4 H-500/600 systems at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Hoot has worked with Baylor University to provide sewage and quality data analysis for the last 17 years. To date Hoot has spent over a half a million dollars with Baylor through their Department of Environmental Studies, Baylor Testing and Certification Program and now the Wastewater Treatment Research Program.
Research monies go not only to testing, but to support students through Tuition Reimbursement and Stipend support. To date more than a dozen students have been supported through this program and have used their experiences at Baylor to launch their careers into the wastewater field.
In addition to product testing and development for Hoot, we make our equipment and research funding available for the future of wastewater treatment including tracer organism research, emerging technologies such as endocrine inhibitors and pharmaceuticals research. To find out more about this future wastewater concern, check out the research and projects of Dr. Bryan Brooks of Baylor University.
For additional information on the Baylor University Wastewater Research Program, contact Dr. Joe Yelderman, Director.
We also conduct “cold weather climate” testing at the Massachusetts Alternative Septic System Test Center on Cape Cod. For more information on the site and the unique testing that they perform, please click here.
